Winogrand's Women are Beautiful - At the Worcester Art Museum

Worcester Art Museum announces the photographic exhibition of:  Winogrand's Women are Beautiful, on view now through November 10, 2013. Photographs feature black and white images of young adult women taken primarily during the 1960s and early 1970s. Hailed as a pioneer of the "snapshot aesthetic" within the genre of documentary photography, Winogrand produces spontaneous images emphasizing how everyday subjects interact with the landscape around them. His work features oblique perspectives and presents the photographer's most popular portfolio through the lens of five varying themes.
